Payments for your orders are conveniently handled through PayPal, allowing you to use major credit cards even if you don't possess a PayPal account.
Once you have submitted your order I will send you an invoice via PayPal. I will start your painting as soon as I receive and process your payment. Please note that I won't initiate the painting until the invoice has been paid.
shipping
Please provide the address to which you'd like the painting to be delivered when filling out your order.
All paintings are carefully enclosed in a plastic sleeve to protect them. They are then securely packaged with foam board for added protection. If your painting arrives damaged please reach out to me via email: paintingsbysusanna@gmail.com.
Shipping charges cover the cost of packing supplies and postage.
Shipping Internationally: the price will fluctuate depending on the location being shipped to.
If you order multiple paintings, I will send them in one package.
Paintings are shipped via UPS – you will be emailed a tracking number.
I am currently able to ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the UK.
FAQS
are there any photo requirements?
Please select a high-resolution, clear, and detailed photo for the optimal portrait. I prefer photos without filters applied. Photos that are blurry or excessively dark will not be accepted. Note that if the photo was taken with a flash and displays animal eyes with white or red pupils, the painting will reflect this.
If the chosen photo is not acceptable, I will reach out to you. You can specify whether you would like the entire body or just the head of your pet in the composition, or you can leave the composition to my discretion. The color palette will be chosen by me unless noted otherwise. If your animal is partially cut off in the photo, it will be positioned at the edge of the paper where it's cut off in the original photo. Paintings can be either portrait or landscape depending on the photo you send. If you have a preference, let me know in the notes section of your order form.
accessories?
Added accessories will be an additional charge, the amount varies per item. Accessories include toys, beds, blankets, hats, clothes, names, etc. If you pet is already wearing a bandana or collar, etc. there will not be an additional charge. If you would like a collar or leash taken away please let me know in the notes section of the order form.
will I get to see the final portrait before it ships?
I'll send you a photo of the final portrait via email for your approval before shipping the painting. If the portrait doesn't meet your satisfaction, please get in touch with me so we can explore alternatives or arrange for a refund. Once you've approved the painting, all sales are considered final, and any rejected paintings will become my property.
will my portrait be shown in your online portfolio or your social media pages?
Yes, I post everything on my social media. If the painting is a gift please let me know so I can post after it is given.
estimated turnaround time?
Please allow a timeframe of 2-3 weeks for your order to be completed (I'll inform you if this estimate changes). If you have a specific date in mind for the painting to be completed and shipped, please plan in advance and include this date in the notes section of your order, as my waitlist tends to be unpredictable. Keep in mind that the holiday season is my busiest period, so it's advisable to place your order early if it's intended as a gift.
do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Please fill out my Contact Me form or place an Order using the gift certificate option. All gift certificates expire in 1 year from the purchase date.
